my pop art editing |
This image here was found on google as a regular picture using the powerful affect of photoshop, pop art was created. First task was to duplicate the photo four times, by going into the filter gallery the image was able to obtain a posterize affect. Next key aspect was to change the Hue/Saturation of the image giving the different colours as well as filling in the background with the complimenting colours. The artwork has a powerful affect on the eye and creating a beautiful contrast of colours.
- Once you have a original photo, paste it onto Photoshop, and resize by pulling on the arrows located on the edges.
- After completed, hover on the filter button located at the top and click on the filter gallery option. The filter used for this look is poster edges, this filter you are able to change the edge intensity, edge thickness and the posterization to your liking.
- Now, right click on the layer and select duplicate, perform this four rimes to create the four photos. To move the photos click Ctrl + T on your keyboard to be able to freely move the images into the formation of the square using all the images.
- Along the left hand side there is a option where it is a box with dotted lines, by clicking this place the mouse over the images top left corner and drag to the bottom right corner selecting the four images.
- Along the top find the option image and select crop to have a square image. Once that is done go back to image and hover over adjustments and then select Hue/Saturation. Make sure a layer is selected and begin changing the colours.
- Then if wanted, select the paint bucket and fill in the background behind the main object. Using paint brush if need be to fill in some areas.
- After this you have pop art, making changes along the way or after to make it who you are.
This image was created the same way as above however the saturation on the images was at maximum giving it strong vibrant colours.
